Paul F. Myles

Mr. Myles is co-founder and CEO of BFG. He has more than 25 years of consulting and financial institution industry experience. Mr. Myles’s extensive experience includes advising banks on regulatory matters, loan due diligence for merger and acquisitions, loan portfolio quality, capital issues, policy formulation and organization/board development.

Mr. Myles is a contributor to various banking newsletters and conducts financial institution seminars. He contributes to varied BFG consulting projects to banks ranging from de novo status to multi-billion dollar holding institutions. Mr. Myles is a graduate of Florida State University and has conducted post-graduate studies in the areas of finance and banking.

Donald H. Berthaume

Mr. Berthaume has over 30 years of experience in banking and regulatory service. He has served in various senior level positions in both regional bank holding companies and community banks. As a co-founder and principal of BFG, Mr. Berthaume has been involved in a wide range of transactions, including regulatory enforcement actions, raising capital, advising banks and investors in pre-acquisition bank control. His unique background has made him an effective liaison between bank management and the regulatory authorities.

Mr. Berthaume works in all areas of BFG’s practice. He also regularly delivers seminars to financial institutions. He is a graduate of the Armstrong State University BAI School for Bank Administration and has attended Georgia State University.
